Reiki is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that allows everyone to tap into an unlimited supply of life-force energy to improve health and enhance the quality of life. Reiki is the Japanese word for spiritually guided, universal life-force energy. The word rei means spirit, source, or creator. The word ki means force, or energy. A treatment is given through a light laying-on of hands by a trained practitioner. While the experience is unique to each individual, common reactions include feelings of peace, security, grounding, and greater clarity.

HEALING CIRCLES
A weekly gathering of both trained reiki practitioners (all levels) and others interested in learning about and experiencing reiki. Beginners are welcome. Includes introduction, guided meditation, group energy circle, one-on-one session with a certified practitioner,and question/answer.
PRACTITIONERS' HEALING CIRCLE
All levels of reiki attuned practitioners are invited to attend. Each practitioner has the opportunity to give and receive a reiki treatment. Includes guided meditation, inspirational talk and group sharing/discussion.
TRAINING WORKSHOPS
Anyone can learn reiki, regardless of age, background, physical condition, or belief system. Traditionally,
reiki is taught in three separate stages, Level One, Level Two, and Master Program:
LEVEL ONE
The first initiation focuses on self-healing, as well as the basic techniques for giving reiki sessions to
others. Participants also receive traditional Usui-Tibetan style attunements, teachings on the seven
chakras, visualization techniques, and a review of the practical applications of reiki. Includes a professional practitioner certificate.
LEVEL TWO
At this stage, students are invited to deepen their experience of reiki healing. The workshop includes level two Usui-Tibetan style attunements, an introduction to the reiki symbols and their application, techniques for distance healing, full practice sessions, and in-depth spiritual discourse.
REIKI MASTER PROGRAM
The reiki master program is thorough preparation to become a certified Usui-reiki master/ teacher. Students will learn: giving the traditional reiki attunements, the structure of an effective reiki circle and reiki class, how to give insightful spiritual counseling, and many other healing and self-improvement techniques. The class will also attend a 3-day long meditation/healing retreat in upstate NY.
